January 12, 2019A conversation of Tishreen’s Cultural Production Forum with Prof. Senan Abdelqader, a specialist in the field of Architecture and head of the in+Formal Architecture Unit at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. The workshop addressed a few questions risen by Prof. Abdelqader’s presentation of his professional and personal experience as someone who was born in Taybe, graduated in Germany and established a platform that seeks to study Arab culture in Arts, Design and Architecture at Bezalel Academy in the context of Israeli colonialism. Among the issues addresses, was the meaning of contextual production in effort by Arab identity to rid itself of its dependence.
