On The Palestinian Land Day, “The Wanted 18” was Screened at the Alternative Space
March 31, 2018We at Tishreen are very proud to announce the launch of our “Women’s Economic Empowerment” program for the fourth year in a row, in Partnership with the Na’amat Movement.
This year our group is based in the city of Qalansuwa in coordination with our local partners, “Tawasol” Association” and the Qalansuwa Community Center. This is a two-tiered project which aims to equip women with the necessary skills to integrate into the labor market, through various trainings and a specialized mentorship system on the one hand, in addition to providing them with a social platform that allows them to undergo various workshops relating to civic engagement and activism, while connecting them through the projects “Employment Club” to a social network of more than 85 women in the Triangle region who have previously participated in the project.
A very special thanks to our friends at the
for making this project the success that it is, and a warm thank you to the staff that oversees the implementation of the project’s objectives, and a special thanks to the Qalansuwa Municipality and its Mayor for the unwavering support! We wish the participants a very pleasant and enriching year!
