The Second Phase of “Youth Leadership for Safe Society” Program

This week-end, Tishreen launched the 2nd phase of our “Youth Leadership for a Safe Society” program. On Saturday, our amazing youth trainers began working with 6 different groups in the informal education system. The groups are from 6 schools in the towns of Taybeh, Qalansawa, Kufur-Qara’ and Kufur-Kasem. Through weekly groups meetings, the trainers will raise awareness with the youth on various topics such as leadership, social responsibility, volunteerism, acceptance of diversity, strategies in conflict resolution and more. The topics, along with the acquired skills throughout the process, will later on be applied through public campaigns and initiatives.
